  9. INET is the annual Internet Society Conference.
  10.  
  11. Following the very successful INET'92, INET'93 will be held on 17-20
  12. August 1993 in San Francisco. Focusing on worldwide issues of research
  13. and academic networking, the goal of INET'93 is to bring together
  14. individuals from university, industry and government who are involved
  15. with planning, developing, implementing, managing and funding
  16. national, regional and international research, academic, and
  17. commercial networks.

  19. The official language of the conference is English.  The conference
  20. agenda will include plans and status reports on research and academic
  21. networks throughout the world. In addition, possible topics for
  22. conference sessions include but are not limited to the following:

  82. The conference will be held immediately preceding Fall Interop '93,
  83. the leading trade show for Internet technologies. This will make
  84. possible attending both events as well as tutorials given as part of
  85. Interop '93.

  87. The conference will be held in one of the most beautiful cities in the
  88. world.  Social events will be arranged during the conference to take
  89. advantage of the unique environment San Francisco provides. In
  90. addition, assistance will be provided to attendees wishing to see more
  91. of this unique area.

  97. (maximum of 20 pages) with an abstract to:

  114. Workshop for Developing Countries
  115.  
  116. A workshop designed to assist developing countries in their
  117. installation and use of networking technology is being organized and
  118. will take place during the week before the conference in the San
  119. Francisco Bay Area.
